This is the first time I had ever seen one of these. I was near the Ludlow Division of the Springfield Waterworks Reservoir. I had to look it up on the Internet and this site had the best representation of what I saw.
I did not hear it sing, but here is what I would have heard had it decided to sing (wav).
I also saw two Baltimore Orioles
and one Eastern Bluebird.
A nesting pair of Mallard Ducks were not scared as I watched them for several minutes from only 20 feet away.
